Last week we learned that God does desire to speak to us, and that sometimes we aren't getting the message due to sin problems in our life. This week Pastor Doss helps us to understand what else may be causing mixed signals in our communications.

Ever question whether God still speaks to us today? Or just what it is He wants you to do? The majority of Christians, if they’re being honest, would say they are full of doubt, misunderstanding frustration and fear (ex: Did I hear God correctly, Is it God, Satan or me? Why can’t I hear you God? Do you even want to talk to me?) when it comes to this subject. Today Pastor Doss delves in to our new series on just this topic. Join us for our first session as we discover, does God still talk to us today?
It can be rather confusing when it comes to understanding what it means to be a Christian. After all, God laid out all the rules in the Old Testament telling us how we should act, what we should and should not do. But then along came Jesus, who fulfilled all the laws leaving us free from them, right? But what about the part where He said He didn't come to do away with the law (Matthew 5:17)? How does that work? Today Pastor Doss gives a scriptural response and walks us through the purpose of the law, and how it does (or does not) apply to us.
Do you ever find yourself thinking that if you didn’t have to give so much time, money, energy to the church or if you weren’t a Christian you could [fill in the blank]? Maybe your Christian values aren’t worth it, or you’re tired of ‘loving’ people, or you feel like it’s been too hard for too long and you’re just ‘done’, or you feel like you’re not benefiting from this ‘whole Christian’ thing…? Then this sermon is for YOU!
Elder and Evangelist Jonathan Smith introduces us to the "Tater" family and encourages us to determine if we might be related.
