God had to become a Man, because only God was qualified to pay the horrible price of sin. We have all heard many times during the Nativity, how Jesus had to become a Man so that He could truly understand, truly relate to us in every way.

We have recently been walking through defining moments in the life of David, good and bad, and watching how God used these events in his life to shape him into a man after God's own heart. Today we will look at a powerful story, that takes place when David is very young in age (about 24 or 25 years old), and still very inexperienced as a leader; still being molded by God in his spiritual walk, as many of us are as well. So, without further introduction, we will jump into the story and let God's Word take us where He wants us to go today.
We continue examining the life of David today, by focusing on the period in which he was exiled. Fleeing death at the hands of Saul, David takes to the hill country and tries to understand how he can be the anointed king chosen by God, and yet be exiled from his kingdom. Listen as Pastor Doss shows us that sometimes we need to learn to love the sky we are under and not necessarily yearn for the one we feel we should be under.
Have you ever done something that seemingly, in our eyes , would please God but it goes all wrong and fails miserably? Today we look into King David’s life and witness this exact thing and we will find out why everything went wrong.
Our study on the life of King David continues today with a look at David's, and the Israelite's, actions concerning the Ark of the Covenant. Won't you join us in discovering how even the most (apparently) worshipful actions may be the reason for your difficulties?
Have you ever known someone who just couldn’t forgive what was done to them? Have you watched them as it slowly ate away at who they were and destroyed them? Have you yourself kept dwelling on and let unforgiveness eat away who you really are? Pastor Doug dives into forgiveness from King David’s life and shares a message for all of us...
Last week Pastor Doss showed us that no sin can keep us from God's love and acceptance as long as we are willing to repent. (If you missed it, be sure to check it out here. ) For many, a reluctance to accept God's forgiveness for our own sins keeps them from a meaningful relationship with our Father. But what if you have confessed and accepted His forgiveness and you still feel a separation? Today Pastor Doss takes us through the next step of establishing that connection we are seeking.
