For the past several weeks we have taken a hard, truthful look at the fact that some of us have things in our lives we have chosen over loving Christ, and others in our lives. Some here are now very aware that you have something in your life that you know is not okay with Christ—that you know is keeping you from Him—and yet, some are still lying about it, hiding it, or ignoring it. But here is where I really want to focus today: I think there are a number of us here today that are hiding our sin, or lying about it, not because we don't want to change, not because we don't trust God and His ways, but, simply because we feel that we are either just too hopelessly caught up in our sin to beat it, or that we are too far gone in our sin to come back now.

Every one of us is a warrior with battles to face, and giants to slay. But what happens when the warrior chooses to tiptoe around the giant rather than slay it?
Today Pastor Doss asks us to examine our lives and discover our own sleeping giants and gives us the necessary tools to not only face them, but to overcome them and learn to live without fearing them. If God was literally with you today, and completely controlling every aspect of your life according to His desires... What would change
If you are like many people in the U.S., when you make plans you plug in your destination on your GPS device, jump in your vehicle and go. You give no thought to whether the directions it gives you are right, until you end up in a place that just doesn't look "right".
As quick as we are to follow the directions of those little computerized devices that are programmed by people (who make mistakes) we still hesitate (or flat our refuse) to follow the directions of the One that created the map of everything. Why is that? This is what Pastor Doss walks us through this Father's Day. Click to listen at the link below. Several lessons in these past weeks have led up to this one. I did not even know it was where God was taking me. Even when realized, I was very slow to go in this direction. Today's lesson is 100% Scriptural, and 100% needed. Though I have never taught it as honestly and raw as we will hear it today—going to take a big chance here today, because it's not about making more false converts, it's about making less, but real converts (According to Christ Himself). When I tell you that I love you, I'm not just saying it jokingly today; you need to know this lesson comes from love and obedience, not anger, frustration, or anything else you may consider when we're done. And know this one more thing, before we begin, for a number of you, God will be calling you to a point of decision and change today.
Within this crowd, there are several groups of people, spiritually speaking. Some of you know Christ as your Savior; some of you do not know Him; some of you only think you know Him; and some of you, have known Him—but not anymore.
