The Seed Blog: The Gospel, plain and simple...

​Within this crowd, there are several groups of people, spiritually speaking. Some of you know Christ as your Savior; some of you do not know Him; some of you only think you know Him; and some of you, have known Him—but not anymore. 

​For the people who don't know Christ personally, even some who may have been in church for a long time; you may have some questions that are good and reasonable in a world like ours. Such as: "If God is real, why would He make it so hard to follow Him, by demanding one narrow path? In other words, why is there supposedly only one way to Him?!" And here is the verse that seems to agree with that question:
Matthew 7:13-14. Any real truth requires a narrow answer because it is the only right answer. Jesus Christ is one answer; the right answer. And few people find the way to Him, because of their heart, not because of the lack of ways. (That's why it's difficult and narrow) Actually, Jesus Christ could not have made it any easier or wide open than He did: 1 John 4:10; Matthew 11:28;
Romans 10:8-13. So, He loves all, and He died for all, and the only thing He asks of us, is that we accept that gift, and confess that we want to serve Him. Then, absolutely, no matter what we've done, what we're doing, where we came from, or how long we've done it—it is all paid for and forgotten. And if you asked me the next logical and fair question, it might possibly be something like: "Ok, so the fact that it is a narrow way, if it is indeed the Truth makes sense...  But what makes you so sure that belief in a God is that True Way?" Science has determined that the very laws it is based upon have proven spontaneous life, or life from non-life, is an established impossibility; yet we continue to build our entire model of evolution without God upon the irremovable foundation that isn't even there. Science has established that the entire Universe is winding down and dying forever, going from order and energy to disorder and death, thereby showing something, or Someone had to give it order and energy (which doesn't happen in nature). Science has established that we have a blueprint, more intricate than anything imaginable, literally coded on our DNA, in a readable and useable format, packed with so much intelligently coded information for building US, that a one-square-inch chip of DNA could encode enough information to fill over seven billion Bibles. To show just how intelligently made DNA must be, scientists are learning to save coded computer information onto DNA and retrieve it again. They say all the information, in all the entire world, could be held in one teaspoon of DNA. All of this, and yet, we have looked for signs by scanning the stars for one piece of intelligent communication for years to prove intelligent life exists. Science has established recently, that even with all these intelligently encoded blueprints, even the simplest life would be impossible, without thousands of machines at the microscopic level, decoding this information, and actually building the material in perfect order according to design. Science has established that the possibility of even one of our intricate cells, which we have never understood until recently, could never have mathematically formed by random chance—much less an unbelievably intricate organ such as a eye, or an ear, or a heart, or a kidney. (All of which are not only unimaginably too complex to be an accident, but they show a specific purpose in creation; purpose shows design; design shows intelligence. And on top of all of this, most of your incredibly complex systems have to be together and in harmony, or none of them would function. Meaning they had to appear together, or not at all; in perfect working order; with beautiful design and purpose. These very Laws that science is even based upon are amazingly designed and set into place in unimaginable synchronization and harmony for the Universe to function, but these unchanging, and perfectly balanced constants are supposed to be from nowhere, by accident. The Law of Gravity itself: If changed by 1 part to 1040, would make life impossible. (Frank Turek) (You look at all of these facts of science, yet, I'm told that I am the one that needs imagination and faith to believe in God?)
 
So, at this point again, some would say: "Well Ok, it is apparent that some Intelligent Being must have been involved, why does that Intelligent Being need to be Jesus?" Again, to summarize hours of incredible information, I would be willing to follow any other religion that seemed to come within light years of Scriptures—but it just can't happen. This Bible is the only Book written by so many people, of so many different times, and so many walks of life, yet telling a perfect story of harmony. This Bible is the only Book that has over 2500 detailed prophecies, involving alignment of nations, alliances, wars, events, governments, world powers, specific people that would rise and fall, and every aspect of Jesus Christ's life, death and resurrection; over 2000 of which, we can look back on and see perfect fulfillment, proven in our own history, archeology, and own witness. The mathematical possibility of these prophecies occurring by chance as predicted are astronomically impossible. (1 to 102000) Our Scriptures are the only religious writings to have a large number of scientifically and medically accurate statements, though written before they could be understood by the authors. In contrast, the Qur'an has statements such as: Surah 23:14 stating humans are formed from a clot of blood. Surah 18:86 claiming the sun sets in a spring of murky water. Our Scriptures are historically sound, not mythical or exaggerated; our Scriptures tell Truth, even when the writers would not know the Truth, or would be embarrassed by that Truth. There is no other book on earth, of any culture, religion, or time that has these credentials; only this Book has the fingerprints of God.
Romans 1:18-22; Romans 1:18: that is the "Unpardonable Sin" in Scriptures. For the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart, tell you God is real, He is your Creator, your reason for life, and you purposefully reject that knowledge and choose your own way. As horrible as sin is in this world; as bad as we all have been; as many times as we have let Him down—those sins are not what will send us to hell. Those sins have been paid for by the precious blood of God himself. Christ placed unbelievable worth on your soul, because He gave His own life, throne, comfort, and reputation to purchase you. So if those sins won’t send you to hell, what will? Rejecting such an awesome act of love. Knowing He paid for those sins, yet denying Him; not wanting anything to do with the God who died in love for you. Let me ask you this: "On your current path in life, when you finally get where you're headed, where will you be?" Because you are a precious, and eternal soul; you will be somewhere for eternity. How horrible to realize then, the incredible love that Christ had for you; love that you never returned because you loved yourself too much over these few years in comparison. Eternity—that is so hard for us to imagine in our finite thinking minds. There is a point where what you have to give up, takes away all the joy or benefit of having anything this world offers. What about giving up your priceless, eternal soul? What about giving up all the love a Perfect, Holy God has for you, when it was enough to make Him pour out His own Blood in misery? What about giving up all the wonders and discoveries, and endless excitement of spending that eternity on a New Earth in peace and love with this God that made it all for you?! Mark 8:36-38. If you could get everything you wanted from this world, you couldn't keep it, you'd be gone in a very short while. If you could keep it, you wouldn't want it forever,
you'd grow unsatisfied; because you were made for more—a bigger purpose; a greater love; you were made for an eternity with Him.
And one closing thought for those of us here who have claimed a love for Christ, but are purposefully living a chosen life outside of His will; lease stop and realize where you are in reality: Ephesians 5:3-6; 1 Corinthians 5:11-13; Matthew 7:18-23. The proof of God's existence is undeniable; the worth He places on your soul is immeasurable; the love and sacrifice He made, unbelievable; what you will give up for a very real eternity is unthinkable. John 1:9.
If you see that He is real; see that He is worthy; see all you have to lose; now is the time; there is no other.
