 Within this crowd... And those watching and listening online...There are several groups of people... Spiritually speaking! Some of you know Christ as your Savior...Some of you do not know Him...Some of you ONLY THINK you know Him...And some of you... Started the Journey... Only to fall away again! We are living in a world that increasingly bombards us…With criticism, accusations, and ridicule...For holding true to a belief that we are created beings...And not products of evolution...Much less... Having the audacity to proclaim that Jesus Christ...Is the ONE TRUE WAY to knowing that Creator! With so much aggressive opposition...And so many "proofs" against Jesus being thrown at society...With information which is exaggerated, biased, censured, misrepresented, and flat out FALSE...It is easy for those who have never actually read Scriptures...Or have never simply LOOKED at objective evidence...To completely MISS…The overwhelming proofs of Jesus Christ! Let's STOP and look at just a few UNDENIABLE BASIC FACTS...Which... If considered open-mindedly...Take you to an UNBENDING... AWESOME CONCLUSION!
For the people here who don't know Christ personally. Even some who may have been in church for a long time...You may have some good and reasonable questions…Living in today’s society... Such as: "Why does it matter what each individual believes about their origin? Why do you have to be so "Narrow-minded" that YOUR WAY is the ONLY WAY... If others have something that works for them? "Why would God make it so hard & specific to find Him?" And here is the verse that seems to agree with that question: Matthew 7:13-14 (NKJV) 13 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Well, let me ask you a question...If I wanted to know what your address was... How many answers could you give? ONE... WHY!? Because where you live is not an opinion... It's not MY decision where you live…Depending upon how I feel!Or where I'd like for you to live!!! It's an established fact... A Truth! ANY REAL TRUTH... Requires a narrow answer... Because it is THE ONLY RIGHT ANSWER! Jesus Christ is ONE ANSWER! THE RIGHT ANSWER! And few people find the way to Him…Because of their heart…NOT because of the lack of ways!!Actually… Jesus Christ could not have made it…ANY EASIER or WIDE OPEN than He did! LISTEN... 1 John 4:10 (NKJV) 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Matthew 11:28 (NKJV) 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Romans 10:8-13 (NKJV) 8 But what does it say..? 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved... 11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame..." 13 For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved." So… He loves all, and He died for all...And the only thing He asks of us…Is that we accept that gift…And confess that we want to serve Him! Then, absolutely... No matter what we've done… Where we came from…Or how long we've done it... It is all paid for and forgotten! I'D SAY THAT IS PRETTY EASY AND WIDE OPEN! If you asked me the next logical and fair question…It might possibly be something like:"Ok... So the fact that it is a narrow way...IF… It is indeed the Truth... Makes sense... But what makes you so sure that belief in a God... In a Creator of it all... IS the True Way?!" Quite honestly…We can't go into the abundance of information and proof…That we have spent years covering as a church!! In the world community of today...Which is constantly challenging us to... "Follow the Science!"... I would like to summarize just a few of these ABUNDANT PROOFS...Of WHY their MUST be a Creator behind this Universe...And actually show just how unwilling we truly are in society...TO "Follow the Science"... When it does not lead to conclusions we prefer!! Let's stop for a moment and... "Follow the Science!" SCIENCE has determined…That the very laws it is based upon…Have proven spontaneous life… Or life from non-life…Is an established impossibility... Yet we continue to build our entire model of evolution… Upon the irremovable foundation that isn't even there!! SCIENCE has established…That the entire Universe is winding down and dying...forever going from order and energy to disorder and death...(2nd Law of Thermodynamics/ Law of Entropy) Thereby showing that something... Or Someone…Had to initiate perfect energy… And give it order...Which does NOT happen within the natural laws of this universe! (So had to be OUTSIDE!) What would you think if I told you I found a message spelled out with gravel in the parking lot this morning? "Doug Rocks!" Would it be an accident (Squirrel)…Or proof of someone's presence? SCIENCE has established…That we have a blueprint...More intricate than anything imaginable...With Information recorded intelligently on our DNA... In a readable, followable format (Language)! To show just how intelligently made... And information packed... Our DNA must be... Scientists are actually learning to save coded computer information onto DNA and retrieve it again!! Is for the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart...And SHOW you God is real... He is your Creator... Your reason for life... That Christ placed such unbelievable worth on your soul...That He gave His own life, throne, comfort, and reputation to purchase you!!! And then purposefully deny that love and Sacrifice...From the very One Who gave HIS life FOR YOURS... And choose your own way in selfish sin! Let me ask you this:"On your current path in life, when you finally get where you're headed... Where will you be?" Because you are a precious, and eternal soul...You WILL BE SOMEWHERE for eternity! How horrible to realize then... AT THAT MOMENT...The incredible love that Christ had for you! A love that you never returned…Because you loved creation… Loved SELF…Too much over these few years in comparison... What about giving up your priceless, eternal soul?! What about giving up all the love a Perfect, Holy God has for you...When it was enough to make Him pour out His own Blood in misery? What about giving up all the wonders and discoveries…And endless excitement of spending that eternity…On a New Earth in peace and love…With this God that made it all for you?! If you COULD get everything you wanted from this world... Everything...You couldn't keep it... You'd be gone in a very short while! If you COULD keep it... You wouldn't want it forever... You'd grow unsatisfied! Because you were made for more...A bigger purpose! A greater love!You were made for an eternity with Him! And one closing thought for those of us here…Who have claimed a love for Christ...But are purposefully living a chosen life outside of His will...Please stop and realize where you are in reality... Simply... Listen. Ephesians 5:3-6 (NLT) 3 Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people. 4 Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes—these are not for you. Instead, let there be thankfulness to God. 5 You can be sure that no immoral, impure, or greedy person will inherit the Kingdom of Christ and of God. For a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. 6 Don’t be fooled by those who try to excuse these sins, for the anger of God will fall on all who disobey him. Matthew 7:18-23 (NLT) 18 A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. 19 So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. 20 Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions. 21 “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. 22 On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ 23 But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’ The proof of God's existence is undeniable...The worth He places on your soul is immeasurable...The love and sacrifice He made unbelievable...What you will give up in a very real eternity is unthinkable! 1 John 1:8-9 (NKJV) 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Will you be like that very old and sick man still saying, "Something's holding me back... I'm just not ready yet?" If you see that He is real... See that He is worthy... See all you have to lose...
