Guarding Your Heart, pt 2

Last week, Pastor Doss began to walk us through a visual memory peg of a person dusting her safe with headphones on.  (Clean out the things from your life that don't belong, guard your treasures, and don't listen to the lies of Satan)  Today we add two more items to that image to help us guard our heart.  Listen in at the link below to find out what they are.....

1. Clean house - What do you need to clean out, that may even be a good gift from God, but has become an idol in life?
   
2. Guard your treasures - when you compromise with the world, you steal from the treasures God has for you
   
3. Don't listen to Satan - stay firm in God's truths and refuse to listen to the lies of the world
   
4. Give Him your worries - Go to God in prayer and truly give him your worries and troubles.....then leave them there and trust Him to handle things!
   
5. Focus on Him - you can't love others enough or do enough on your own.  It is only when you focus on God that you can accomplish the things you have been called to do.
